Brittany Carcova

East meets West

I grew up in New York, studied communication design at Pratt and started in Penguin’s art department, designing for the Puffin and Viking imprints. From there I moved into creative services for magazine brands at TEN, then launched digital marketing at a busy New York law firm, then ran brand experiences at The Berman Group for clients like BASF, JPMorgan and SoulCycle.

Somewhere in there I stopped being only the person who made the work and became the person accountable for what it earned. I led growth marketing at Medifast, built an eight-person team at MG Properties, and joined Privy as its first marketing hire. Today I lead marketing at Lineage, an investment platform for individual real estate investors.

The through line is that I never handed off the building. I still write the copy, design the ads, set up the tracking and build the reports, now with custom Claude skills and Claude Code doing work that used to need a team. That’s how one marketer took Lineage’s pipeline 2.6x in 90 days without an in-house staff.

I move at New York speed with California systems behind me. I’m looking for my next role leading marketing at a company that measures it in revenue, remote or in San Diego.
